Fall is here!

Fall time has arrived, can not believe that the summer went by so fast. It was a great one. Good by summer of 2011....hello fall of 2011.
The boys are loving school. Matthew is in 5th grade, his final year of elementary school, while my baby is in 1st grade. They are doing real well, Jonathan is reading so much and I love it, I make him read his books to me..he is so cute. Matthew is doing good, keeping my fingers crossed that he excels, 4th grade was tough for him. As far as me and kenny, we have been good, married for 12years, it has been great, I love him so much. Work has been great, I'm always saying that I'm going to quit, i miss being a SAHM, but my job has been so great. Cindy and Dr. Seifert have been so understanding with all my craziness LOL. Wewent pumpkin picking the beginning of the month, it was dismal picking, last year I got some great stuff, this year not so great. Here is a picture of my favorite men. The 3 loves of my life. I'm hoping I can keep this blog up. I have had it for awhile:) Until next time.

Summer of 2011

I have to say this... It has been a different summer than want we are use too, but it has been so much fun. The boys are super active with making new friends and hanging with the old ones. I have been working, but yet making time for my guys . All in all it has been so much fun!!

Trying again

So after not blogging since oct, I thought I would give it another shot.
So much has happened in the course of a few months. I finished school, got a job and suffered the loss of my teacher, she was such a great person, we learned alot from her.
He boys finished baseball season, Matthew 's team even made it to the playoffs, it was good , but stressful at the same time.
Other than that, we are enjoying the summer.

WOW...Oct!!

So sorry that I haven't blogged in a few weeks, life has gotten a little crazy, but fun.
My kids have been enjoying school, they have adapted pretty well.
I have been going to the gym and so far lost 5 lbs, so happy!! I even ran 5miles the other day, I told Kenny once I'm done with school, I will be training for a 1/2 marathon. I need to do this.
School is coming in about 2 weeks, I'm so excited, but nervous at the same time, but I can't wait. This fall is all about me. I need to do stuff for me, that doesn't mean I will stop doing stuff for my men, it's just that me will be included:) Well hopefully I will blog more this month.

Lazy Sunday.

So that is the theme of today. As I sit in my kitchen drinking my second cup of java. It is a beautiful day out and me and the boys want to stay inside and do nothing, we are still in our pj's. It's a perfect day. 

Back to the gym

Now that my kids are in school, there is no excuse for me to slack, I was doing so well at one point and then with my asthma, everything went downhill. I started going last week and I have been going almost everyday, even when we were away this past weekend, I went and worked out. I love the way I feel, so enegrgized, I sleep so much better. I have been eating alot better as well. I made my daily trip to Trader Joe's( love that place)

School Days

The start of the new school year, I can't believe that I have a kid in 4th grade and my baby in kindergarten.

I had a knot in my stomach the whole day, but they both had a great day which made me feel better. Matthew was excited by telling me who of his friends where in his class, and Jonathan was happy that he got to play with playdough :) He even wanted to go back, oh I think that can be arranged.

Now back to the hectic schedules. I do miss them though, the house is so quiet with out them:(

The return of Family fun night.

The kids go back on tuesday, so we decided to get back to our friday family fun night. We either play a boardgame or we play the wii, no matter what we do, it's always as a family.

Our day started as we waited for Hurricane or tropical Storm earl.

It was pouring out today. I thought I had to get the canoe at some point during the day.

For dinner I made a kick ass manicotti

Then me and Kenny had some juice to drink LOL!!!

It was a fun family fun night. The boys love playing with the Wii.

All in all a good night.

Hurricane Earl.

So I'm making myself crazy watching all the weather reports. We bought in all of our deck furniture, put the umbrella's away and the chairs. Our deck looks so clean, I'm kind of glad for this warning, forced us to get rid of stuff LOL!!! Well here is the projected path for Hurricane Earl. Right now it's a catergory 3. I just hope it does not decide to move just a little bit.

Going back to school!

That would be me LOL!! I have decided to do something with my life now that the kids are going back to school. I enrolled in a business school to take courses in Medical billing.

I met with my counsleor and she has been great! So supportive and so easy to talk to, makes it so much easier for someone like me, who hasn't been in school for over 10 years LOL!! Look at the nice note she gave me after I registered

That was so nice of her, makes me feel real good.

I'm scared, but happy to be going on this new adventure.

Can't wait to start!!

Good Bye Summer 2010

So August has been a busy month trying to keep the boys busy, alot of nights have turned like this.

All is all it has been a great summer. We went to Saratoga Springs

for a few days, then the rest of the month, it was about going to the beach, parties, playdates, pool, night swimming. It has been a great summer. Now we are winding down and getting ready for school. The boys start on Tuesday.

So lately, I have been having trouble putting my boys to bed. Last night I was really tired and sent them to bed at 8:30p. Well I was on my Facebook and I came across this picture.

Matthew posted it on his FB...with his Nintendo DSi. Needless to say I need to take it away from him at bed time.

I have to admit, that's funny :)

A True Man.

As I sit at my desk, and watch it pouring cats and dogs outside. My youngest comes to me without shorts on and says that he is looking for a book, I ask what for, and he goes " Mommy I have to poop and need something to read" LMAO!!!

Choices.

So sitting here drinking my java. Thinking ahead to what I'm going to do once the boys go to school. I was looking at my local community college pamphlet, and at some classes. I found one for pharmacy technician and want to do it, but I'm afraid it will take alot of time away from my boys, and the classes are at night.

Then I'm thinking, why don't I work first. Ahhh so many choices, why does this all have to be so hard. Why can't I just win a lottery LOL!

I changed a few things on my blog. Sorry I haven't been writing, this summer has kept us busy, with pool, beach, hanging with friends it has been crazy.
I still have some work to do on this blog, need to put in a picture, but I have to resize it and I can't seem to fiqure it out.
